The development and widespread use of information technology have led to profound changes in many areas of life. While societies have benefited greatly from this transformation, businesses, managers, and entrepreneurs have also gained advantages. In this context, the aim of this study is to examine the relationship between entrepreneurship and information technology (IT) in Türkiye for the period between 2016 and 2022 using a hybrid Multi-Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) method. The study employs SD, PSI, MEREC, and COBRA methods. Results are compared with findings from other MCDM methods that confirm the reliability and stability of the proposed approach, and sensitivity analyses are conducted under scenarios where the criterion weights differ. The criterion weighting revealed that the most important criterion is “Enterprises with a Website,” while the least important criterion is “Enterprises with Internet Access.” According to the COBRA method, 2022 was identified as the best-performing year for entrepreneurs’ IT usage, while 2017 had the lowest performance. The study suggests that entrepreneurs’ IT usage performance has changed over the years. Therefore, the intensive use of new technologies will facilitate the emergence of new business processes and business models, which will both increase the number of people using information and communication technologies in current employment and play an important role in job creation.
