REDUCTION OF NOx BY MEANS OF UREA INJECTION -ROVINARIPOWER PLANT CASE

Abstract

The paper examines how nitrogen in the fuel is a pollutant. The mechanism of formation of nitrogen oxides is presented: is a function of excess air, coal age (volatile matter content), and function of temperature in the furnace. Some of the methods for reducing the concentration of nitrogen oxides are presented.
