La influencia de las nuevas tecnologías en la literatura de hoy
Abstract
In the twenty-first century, new technologies have changed the conception of literature and the means of its dissemination. Andrés Neuman’s La vida en las ventanas (2002) and Microrréplicas (2010) are the two examples chosen here to illustrate this idea. The first one is an epistolary novel in which letters have been replaced by emails and the second one is a blog the author began in 2010, which he regularly updates and which is thus constantly evolving. It is both a space for self-promotion and a continuation of already published works such as Cómo viajar sin ver (2010). The latter is a travel book written by Neuman after obtaining the Alfaguara prize for El viajero del siglo in 2009. In the two examples studied, literary innovation is inspired by and relies on digital innovations. Through a poetics of fragments, the novel and the blog converge to give birth to a diaristic writing technique containing abundant intertextual and intratextual references.
