Abstract

Este artigo aborda o grande tema da guerra na África básica o qual apresenta articulações múltiplas. A tradição mandê, da África ocidental permite compreender os modos de constituição do significado da violência organizada, e em especial da guerra justa, com particular atenção às configurações do poder em relação à territorialidade.This article treats the great theme of war in Africa, which permits multiple articulations. The mandê tradition of West Africa permits the understanding of the ways the meaning of organized violence are constituted, especially the just war, with particular attention to the forms of power in relation to territoriality.
