THE DRAWING AT SCHOOL A HISTORICAL REVIEW OF ITS FIRST TRATADISTS
Abstract
In this article, the Spanish contributions to the drawing discipline by four artists, teachers and pedagogues from first third of 20th century are analyzed, these artists are Alberto Blanco Roldán, Elisa López Velasco, Victor Masriera and Lorenzo Gascón. They got along with the new educational trends, from the New School, that prevailed in Europe and they offer new contributions about the beginning of the drawing discipline at school and its methodology. A lot of their ideas still surprise because of the fact of not being practiced even sixty or seventy years later than being formulated by them.
