Recently some regions in Mexico have been incorporated into international migration dynamic; however, the main objective in this paper is determined if young people are interested in international migration or continue to study, in a region which has been reached by the international migration process. Due to, we apply techniques like the pool and direct and personal interviews on a sample of farming high school students and residents of Cuacnopalan locality, in Palmar de Bravo municipality, Puebla. The results show that the main expectation is continue to study, for the half of the sample, in the short term; nevertheless, migration represents the only one option for young people in this rural space, because study is out of their reach and the few jobs in this kind of places don’t permit make a way of living.
