The research paper presents the model of psychological safety of an individual, and allows distinguishing the following components of the phenomenon under research: value and semantic, emotional and evaluative, behavioral and regulatory. The value and semantic component of psychological safety is represented through an individually predetermined structure of meanings of life of an individual, which determine the assessment of the degree of safety / hazards of the environment. The emotional and evaluative component of psychological safety forms the internal harmony of a person; and a manifestation of behavioral and regulatory component is the ability to risk, which determines the level of tolerance of a personality to potential dangers, namely the ability to perceive them as a challenge and motivation for self-development.The multidimensionality of the phenomenon of psychological safety under research implies further research in the direction of identifying effective mechanisms for acquiring psychological safety under the conditions of a modern dynamically changing social environment.
