O LUGAR DA PARTICIPAçãO POPULAR NA GESTãO DE SAúDE: MATRIZES CONCEITUAIS E OS RUMOS DA POLÍTICA BRASILEIRA

Abstract

The present article aims at discussing the municipalizationof the health in Brazil, taking as reference the Politicalgeography and Political Science. This study analyzes thesubject of the community participation, the way in which inwas institutionalized, as well as their doctrinaire origins. As itwill be shown, the municipalization of the politics of Brazilianhealth involved multiple social actors in delimiting spaces ofpower inside of the public administration. At the moment thatwe understand that the SUS (Brazilian Unified Health System)represents a territorial administration, their implications inthe quality of the rendered services contemplate or willcontemplate in the space production like this in the territorialorder of the society.
