A native conjugative plasmid confers potential selective advantages to plant growth-promoting Bacillus velezensis strain GH1-13
Abstract
Bacillus velezensis strain GH1-13 promotes the growth of rice. Choi et al. show that the conjugative plasmid the bacterium harbours confers it a range of beneficial characteristics, arising from the complex interplay between the plasmid and the genes encoded on the chromosome.
