FIRST EXPERIENCE OF ZENKER'S DIVERTICULUM ENDOSCOPIC TREATMENT
Abstract
Zenker’s divirticulum is rather rare pathology that causes significant dysphagia, it critically reduces life quality in a patient. Standard management of this pathology is open surgical treatment: diverticulectomy with cricopharyngeus myotomy. Due to mini-invasive technique advancements we practise endoscopic diverticulum septotomy. In the present article we describe our first experience with application of mini-invasive modification for Zenker’s diverticulum and early postoperative outcomes.
