This article presents the final results of a study that brings together three generations of librarians in a focus group to discuss the current changes in informational behaviours, namely the ethical dilemmas introduced by the new information temporalities in digital memory and death. Four priority areas for research were identified: (1) Ethical perspectives, (2) Digital literacy, (3) Personal information management and (4) Biographical space. Memorialization practices were considered necessary, especially digital memories and digital storytelling in the perimortem phase, e-obituaries and online memorialization. The management of digital legacies was regarded as an emerging business area which needs to be addressed with standards and information curation, as a guarantee of integrity and digital identity. The focus group also considered technological interactions as an element of self-representation of immortal digital identity.
