The paper presents analysis of the phytomass distribution along the vertical dimension at the fast-growing tree plantations established on reclaimed common chernozem. It was found that above-ground productivity of Populus nigra L. reached 323 tons per hectare, Robinia pseudoacacia L. – 164 and Hippophae rhamnoides L. 98.5 tons per hectare. Forming and distribution of the phytomass depend on the biological peculiarities of each tree species and growing conditions.
