Currently, customers are the organizations "moving targets", compared with previous decades, meaning that markets no longer have a relatively stable structure, which is extremely dynamic, with segments and niches whose profile evolves. Thus, it seems justified that direct marketing is to attract and retain profitable customers through the development of long-term relationships and fostering loyalty. It seems to me that all the more significant advances in information technology have contributed and contribute to substantiate the most appropriate strategies to develop relationships with each client portfolio within the organization.
