Abstract
Resumen: La técnica de implante transfemoral de una válvula aórtica transcatéter (TAVI) es la más extendida de todas, y aunque básicamente es igual al resto de técnicas de implante transarterial retrógrado, tiene sus peculiaridades; además prácticamente todos los dispositivos están adaptados a este acceso, siendo en la actualidad el más utilizado en el mundo.Hablar de implante de TAVI transfemoral, con todo lo que actualmente está escrito y protocolizado por diferentes autores, es un poco reiterativo, pero en general las descripciones actuales suelen hacer referencia a un dispositivo en particular, adaptándolo a sus peculiaridades concretas, siendo los más populares los dispositivos de Medtronic (Corevalve y evolut-pro) y de Edwards (Sapiens 3 y ultra).Por ello, vamos a tratar de darle a este documento un carácter eminentemente general y práctico, intentando aportar las posibilidades técnicas y los trucos que la experiencia nos ha permitido conocer y aprender.
