Data analysis for cadastral parcels of rivers registered within the real estate cadastre in Republic Serbia

Abstract

Data analysis for cadastral parcels (CPs) that are registered within the Real Estate Cadastre (REC) for the rivers in Republic of Serbia: Danube, Sava, Tisa, Drina, and Great Morava is presented in the paper. The analysis has been carried out based on data publicly available on Web site GeoSrbija and KnWeb - public access. For all of the mentioned rivers, the analysis of current number of CPs that are located in the riverbeds was done according to cadastral municipalities (CMs), as well as the analysis of the state border, local government unit (LGU) boundaries and cadastral municipality boundaries because of river beds movement. Special attention has been dedicated to standardization of registration of ownership rights on CPs registered within the REC that are located within existing riverbeds, as well as to problems that are occurring within the procedures of REC maintenance. A proposal for solving these problems is given also.
