WORD IDENTIFICATION IN THE CONTEXT

Abstract

The study of word connections in lexicon, especially in the lexicon of a multilingual individual, is inevitably associated with the problem of access to the word, and, therefore, with problems of word identification. Even though the present study does not set a special task of identifying supports for words identification, the author discusses some theoretical issues related to the problem of a word identification. Word identification is an integral feature of languages interaction. The analysis of various approaches and theories of studying a word identification is described in the article. The problems of lexical access are discussed, as well as the study of strategies for identifying the value of pseudo-word. Such terms as "identification," "pseudo word" are described. An example of an experimental study of word identification in the context is given.
