This study appeared on the context of Supervised Teaching Practice as part of the Master degree on Pre-school Education at School of Education and Social Sciences – Polytechnic Institute of Leiria (Portugal), in the academic year of 2012/2013. Following a qualitative investigation perspective, the objective was to evaluate the role of the objects of transition on the moment of the nap, for three children with ages between 1 and 2 years old on a daycare context. Identifying the objects of transition from the children A, B and X, observed the moment when they fell asleep and the interaction of them with the object/objects. Data was obtained through observation, allowing us to infer that these objects transmitted the child security and comfort, making the process of nap more easy and quiet.
