APPLICATION OF SOFTWARE SYSTEMS FOR CALCULATING THE MODEL OF ELECTRICAL NETWORKS TO SELECT THE DISTANCE PROTECTION SETTINGS

Abstract

In this paper, studies have been carried out on the possibility of using a software package for calculating the operating modes of electric networks RASTRWIN for the purpose of selecting the settings of remote protection ofpower lines with two-way power supply with the possibility of taking into account the transient resistance in the short circuit. The results of calculations can be applied both for simulation of relay protection and automation devices and for educational purposes.
