Internal monitoring of the degree in early childhood education: a place from which to start, a place to which to look

From 2009/2010 course, the Faculty of Teacher Training UAM launched the new Degree in Early Childhood Education. The Monitoring Committee of the degree, new features in Grades, allows analysis of the development of the training program. The preparation of Annual Monitoring Reports titling information has allowed us to improve the quality of the degree The aim of this paper is to describe the structure and functioning of the quality assurance system of Degree, offer some reflections on achievements, concerns and difficulties encountered in implementing the four courses of the degree and "reopen" the debate training of teachers who attend early childhood. We consider the quality of the degree is inserted in the organization's own degree as a systematized and stipulated exchange of information on the achievements and weaknesses work. The same institutions should be seen as opportunities for thinking aimed at continuous improvement of joinet and coordinated actions in the line of action research.
