Migration and education policies in Spain / Políticas migratorias y políticas educativas en España

Abstract

In this article, we reveal how the phenomenon of immigration in Spain is affecting our educational system. First of all, there has proliferated a series of regulations that are related with the topics of education, as much on the national level as on the regional. Secondly, programs and plans that have been carried out to resolve problems and the obstacles that education centers in Spain have encountered are specified. Finally, the school performance of pupils in non-university education is analyzed along with the causes that can explain it.
