A study of the anatomy of the external auditory canal in electroacoustic hearing correction

Abstract

According to the World Health Organization (WHO) report in 2015, 360 million people suffer from disabling hearing loss worldwide, of which 328 million are adults and 32 million are children [6]. This is over 5% of the world's population. According to WHO, disabling hearing loss refers to hearing loss greater than 40 dB in the better hearing ear in adults and a hearing loss greater than 30 dB in the better hearing ear in children.
