Mayakovsky’s dedicatory inscriptions in the State Mayakovsky Museum collection

Abstract

The article describes the collection of Mayakovsky's dedicatory inscriptions on books, the inscriptions are analyzed from the point of view of their connection with certain stages of poet’s life and work as well as the degree of informative completeness. The present research is made on the materials of State Mayakovsky Museum Manuscript and Document Department for the first time. The results of the work will be used during preparation of the 19th volume of Mayakovsky's Complete Works in 20 volumes.
