Se ha revisado la bibliografía que existe sobre Samastacus spinifrons junto a otros datos accesibles al autor, con el objetivo de actualizar el conocimiento biológico de la especie. Se analiza y se entrega información sobre: sistemática, distribución geográfica, hábitat, características fisicoquímicas del agua, variación morfológica, tamaño, relación talla-peso, biología reproductiva, estructura demográfica, migraciones, hábitos alimentarios, predadores, epibiontes, enfermedades, métodos de captura, comportamiento en cautiverio, calidad de la carne, comercialización, legislación, estado de conservación, perspectivas de cultivo comercial, junto a otros aspectos aún no conocidos de la biología de la especieThe existing bibliography on Samastacus spinifrons with other accessible data to the author has been revised, with the objective of updating the biological knowledge of the species.
