Abstract

The article is part of a special issue on occasion of the publication of the entire scientific correspondence of Vilfredo Pareto with Maffeo Pantaleoni. The author reconstructs Pareto’s biography from childhood to his periods in Tuscany, Lausane and Celigny. It considers Pareto’s relations with fascism, and concludes with some reflections on the translations of Pareto’s works to english. JEL: B31
