The Suicide of the President: The Art of Lie and Consensus.

Abstract

The aim of this paper is to problematize some questions about the difficulties encountered by historians in the use of the press as a source of research. More specifically, the conceptions of truth and lies on the media. These notions create immense difficulties for the reading of the media text, since the lies have a social and political place. There is a systematic search for consensus, of persuasion, but they are also accompanied by manipulation. That's why it's difficult to separate the sides. Reality and fantasy are mixed. In this case, personal elements ends up overlapping with political positions.
