Taxonomy of Korean Scaphisoma Leach (Coleoptera: Staphylinidae: Scaphidiinae)

Abstract

A taxonomic study of the Scaphisoma Leach in Korea is presented. Scaphisoma unicolor Achard and S. subalpinum ussuricum Löbl are reported for the first time in the Korean Peninsula. We provide a key and diagnoses with illustrations of habitus and diagnostic characters of six Korean Scaphisoma species.
