Conflit armé au Mali et déscolarisation à l’Académie d’Enseignement de Mopti
Abstract
This article makes the link between the armed conflict and the unschooling of children in central Mali, precisely in the Mopti Education Academy. Thousands of children in the said area are currently unable to benefit from normal schooling. This situation results in the successive movement of school staff, students and their parents to a secure area. Crime and juvenile delinquency end up affecting these children following situations of unschooling. Hence the need to think about the problem. The case of the Mopti teaching academy is the subject of a study which brings together the Youwarou circle, Ténékoun, Sevaré, Djénné and the city of Mopti. The situation is recurring and constitutes a serious concern for school authorities. Ultimately, students experience school disengagement as a result of insecurity.
