Intersecciones identitarias en la poesía afrofemenina colombiana del siglo XX
Abstract
This article seeks to analyse in an intersectional manner certain implications of racialised female identity in the texts of the Antología de mujeres poetas afrocolombianas. On the one hand, there is the evocation of the collective memory of the African diaspora and, on the other, the current experience of living in a nation dominated by precariousness and racism. At the same time, the poetic voices assert their feminine experience through their bodies, expressing their desire and their contrasting experiences of motherhood. Poetic writing becomes a laboratory of identity by giving free rein to reflexive research and to the interpellation of the potential reader, an exercise in identity for poetic voices that highlights their place in social space and in cultural archives.
