Making Education an Area Based on Scientific Evidence
Abstract
Educational research does not have much credibility among teachers and administrators. That's how hard, that clear. And as a result, it is not often that one or the other resort to scientific evidence when they have to make a decision (Kennedy, 1997, Hening, 2006, Whitty, 2006, Houston, 2008, Weiss, Murphy-Graham, Petrosino and Gandhi, 2008 ). In this brief paper we will analyze the causes of this reputation and will delve into the models of the relationship between research and practice.
