Data Fusion Functions: Applications to Sensor Networks
Abstract
A median-based sensor fusion function has been proposed which satisfies local Lipschitz condition and is fault tolerant in presence of outliers. Some of the existing fusion functions have also been merged to produce a hybrid fusion function which satisfies local Lipschitz condition and retains the better properties of each component function. Equivalence has been established between two existing fusion functions under certain conditions.
