It is especially important at the initial stage, as the first school impressions form child’s awareness of being controlled (monitored) both at school and in life generally. Moreover, it influences further educational successes. The article presents the results of a pilot study carried out among students, teachers and their parents using the interview technique concerning the comparison of the grade assessment system and the descriptive assessment system in the context of the school model of school assessment, safe and having the greatest positive impact on the emotional and social sphere of an early school age child.
