LA KAFALA MARROQUÍ: PROBLEMAS DE AYER, HOY Y MAÑANA

Abstract

Kafala is an institution with a significant religious component. This is not only a matter of care and maintenance a child, but also to educating him/her in the Muslim Religion. Failure to comply with this requirement has motivated the Moroccan Government reaction vetoing to foreign non resident in Morocco the possibility of setting a kafala. Despite this prohibition, the Moroccan kafala still poses problems to the Spanish authorities. This paper has the aim of analyse both, old and new problems.
