Língua falada e gramaticalização

Abstract

Under the assumption of the modularity of language, I propose discoursivization, semanticalization and grammaticalization as constitutive processes of spoken language. Looking into grammaticalization, I examine the behavior of the item mas in the NURC (Educated Urban Norm) project data.
