Reminiscenze e citazioni letterarie in “Piccolo mondo antico”
Abstract
Aiming to explore both implicit and explicit quotations in Antonio Fogazzaro’s Piccolo mondo antico (1895), this article focuses on citations of prose, patriotic literature, and opera librettos. In spite of several differences between Fogazzaro and Manzoni, such as love representations, The Betrothed can be considered as one of the many hypotexts of Piccolo mondo antico.
