The fight against the construction of urban highways has been an emblematic case of post-dictatorship citizen’s mobilizations in the Chilean capital and has given place to a debate on justice in the city. Considering that injustice is different from inequality as there is someone to protest or at least to state that this inequality is not fair, we focus in studying the discourses and representations of justice. In this article, we analyze, taking the case of the project of highway Vespucio Oriente in Santiago of Chile, how the notion of (in)justice has been mobilized and has evolved in the discourses published in written medias. Keywords: highways, spatial justice, scales.
