The article is devoted to the issue of regional identity that is topical in the context of globalization. The subject of the study is the works by N. Volokitin, V. Astafiev, A. Bondarenko and other writers of the Yenisei Siberia. The object of research is the image of the regional space in these works. Purpose. To consider the features of the artistic space in the works, as well as identify the main markers that characterize the space of the Yenisei Siberia. Research methods: the descriptive method, method of contextual analysis, as well as comparative-typological method form the basis of the research. Results. As a result of the conducted research it was revealed that the study of regional identity is conducted in various directions [1, 4, 6, 8, 9, 12]. Markers of regional space in fiction are both natural images (rivers, lakes, mountains, taiga (forest) and images of culture (house, village (city), architectural objects, etc.). The chronotope of Siberia in the writings of the Krasnoyarsk Territory writers of the second half of the twentieth century has changed dramatically as Siberia is now a “dead” land, but not due to natural causes (long winter, severe frosts), but as a result of human activities (cut-down taiga, littered rivers and lakes, abandoned villages). The river is one of the sustainable markers of the regional space. In the writings by Siberian writers, this is not only a sign that binds the reader to the scene, but also a meaningful image. Practical implications. The results of the research can be used to study issues of regional identity in the study of such disciplines as Folklore and literature of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, Local texts of Russian literature and culture (Siberian text section), Culture of Siberia, Siberian exile.
