ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE IN THE UNIVERSITY AREA OF THE REPUBLIC OF MOLDOVA

Abstract

The university is an organization / institution with a special social role, the purpose of which is to prepare the young gene­ration for active and creative insertion in society. Like any other type of organization, the universities have an organizational culture and a complex system of subcultures. The study of culture in the university area allows the identification of mindset, manifested and desirable behaviour, needs and requirements of employees, which is a major prerequisite for the foundation, building, shaping and implementing of appropriate policies and management strategies.
