This paper undertakes a study on the collaborative networks, which are presented as innovative tools in communication, providing closer personal relationships. This research aimed to analyze how the relationship between student and teacher is structured from a technological collaboration tool. It was a quantitative survey and used a descriptive methodology, questionnaires with multiple choice questions mixed with scale Likert five-point and question of enumeration to a simple random probability sample through a survey fieldwork, to interview 120 users Sigaa. It was found that the Sigaa somehow is helping to structure the relationship between students and teachers, as most respondents recognize that it is suitable to be part of an academic management system easy to handle, that has good resources for information exchange, which give convenience, fast access and communication ease.
