Shearer service life and reliability of the gear cutting unit has the close relation.Based on ANSYS,the dynamics and fatigue analysis of the third stage gear of minimum safety coefficient of a certain type of shearer cutting unit transmission system are carried out.The results show that it satisfies the operating requirement.A quantitative basis for the design and optimization of gear shearer cutting unit is provided by the presented method.At the same time,new product research and development cost and time is reduced,it has the high practical value.
