Des femmes, des sciences et des technologies : une analyse textuelle de Bitch (2000-2016)

Abstract

The disparity between genders in the science and technology fields and the more fundamental debate on how to define science are the starting points for this article. As science and technology become increasingly important in our daily lives, these debates are also increasingly important. Our society will suffer if science and technology continue to be defined primarily by men and women continue to be poorly represented in these fields. In order to understand how a feminist publication participates in these debates, we conducted a textual analysis of a selection of articles with science and/or technology as the main subject that appeared in Bitch: A Feminist Response to Pop Culture between 2000 and 2016.
