Thalassaemia is an inherited disorder of haemoglobin synthesis which causes different craniofacial defects. The clinical features results from anaemia and also iron transfusion therapy. This article presents skeletal and non-skeletal radiological features of thalassaemia using conventional and advanced imaging modalities by thorough search of literature which may be useful for clinical diagnosis. A review of radiological features by conventional, Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), and Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT) is compared and presented in this article.
