L’ouverture des données pour la recherche à travers des exemples de la collection grecque du musée Saint-Raymond, musée d’Archéologie de Toulouse

Abstract

The open data movement offers to cultural institutions the opportunity to share their collections more widely with the public and more particularly with the research community requiring the exploitation and reuse of documentary resources. The Musée Saint-Raymond is part of this approach and uses open source distribution platforms to publish inventory data and images from its archaeological collections, benefiting in return from the knowledge generated by the context of the linked open data. Feedback from experience through a few examples drawn from the museum’s Greek collections.
