Is E-Learning Up to the Mark?
Abstract
With the introduction of training courses or seminars via the internet it becomes relevant to evaluate and assess these new and innovative forms of learning and teaching. The following article deals with two issues: a)Evaluation methods used in web-based learning arrangements that are dependent on standards in evaluation research b)The implicit logic of the communication medium “internet”. The paper concludes by illustrating methods of evaluation and assessment that correspond to both paradigms.
