Objective: This is a qualitative study with a phenomenological approach, conducted withthree truck drivers who at the time were in the city limits in a town north of Mato Grosso.Methodology: Data collection was made through a semi-structured, interviews weretranscribed and analyzed using content analysis method. From the analysis, three categorieswere created: between use and knowledge, the word "drug" and its meaning and learn the use and existence, which supported the discussions about the theme. Results: The results showthat truckers demonstrate knowledge about the harms arising from the use of amphetamines,however, the fact of knowing about such drugs do not stop using. Conclusion: Thus it issuggested to be expanded health policies with a viewto catertoprofessional truck drivers.
