Recepción y creación poética: el ms. 90-V1-9 de la Fundación Bartolomé March y la poesía en Granada a finales del siglo xvii
Abstract
The ms. 90-V1-9 of the Fundación Bartolomé March, most likely copied between 1682 and 1685 for Don Pedro Verdugo, second Earl of Torrepalma, once belonged to the private library of the Dukes of Gor. It collects works from four poets more or less linked to the city of Granada (José de Cobaleda, Francisco de Ocaña, Sancho de Vargas and Sebastián Antonio de Gadea), whose works were written, in some cases, as early as in the 1640s; in others, as late as in the early 1680s. The present article studies the ms. 90-V1-9, on the one hand, from the point of view of the reception and consolidation of local poetic models, as exemplified by José de Cobaleda’s writings. On the other hand, in the field of creation, it deals with the thematic profile of Sebastián de Gadea’s contributions to the manuscript, which appear to be the most recent pieces of the volume as a whole.
