In the Social Housing Project in La Florida, San Diego Complex, and Townhouses Lo Recabarren, the question of collectivity is addressed in the design of the elements and spatial dynamics of accesses, both to the complex and between units. Generous circulation spaces, materialities that encourage visual interaction, the strategic placement of individual units vis-à-vis communal areas; in all these works, and in their diverse conditions, it is within the realm of access and circulation spaces where design decisions seamlessly extend the space of leisure and recreation from the confines of the dwelling unit to the heart of the common space, fostering more forms of living together.
