Mechanism of public administration in crisis: the experience of U.S.
Abstract
The article investigates the experience of the state of crisis management in the United States for 2007-2010. On the basis of studies of the mechanism of U.S. statecraft in the specified period, it was found that the model of crisis management in the United States is characterized by several stages, starting with minor measures taken by the Government at the time of inception of the mortgage crisis and ending the state attempts to reduce the impact of the financial crisis and the general economic recovery. The analysis showed that the American model of crisis management is characterized, on the one hand, the high dynamism and flexibility that allowed to react quickly to emerging challenges and threats, and on the other – a pronounced social orientation conducted anti-crisis measures. This experience is certainly helpful for other countries, including Ukraine.
