Technical education: a reflection between the quality and reality of supply in Colombia

Abstract

This article presents a reflection on the issue of quality in education for work and human development from Latin American and Colombian contexts, thus, the document includes a review of the state of the art of research in technical education, in contrast to the reality of supply in Colombia, which requires a special interest in educational research in the country, given the substantial deficiencies and robust coverage served, without government control problems, issues that have influenced the negative perception people have of this type of education.
