The technical systems preventive maintenance trade-off model

Abstract

A complex technical system preventive maintenance model based on a 'trade-off' between maximum availability and cost-effectiveness criterions was developed. The model simulation results are obtained for different relations of preventive and corrective maintenance costs. The optimal interval of preventive maintenance activities is obtained by the 'trade-off' analysis.
