Emigration is not a new phenomenon in the Polish history. It is caused by various reasons and generates some consequences from the point of view of the state and society. This assumption is reflected in the question of the Polish emigration to Great Britain after 2004, which is a challenge in the context of the Polish foreign policy and its results in the form of Polish-British relations. It should be noted that migrations, especially in its social and economic dimension, constitute an important component of foreign policy, both of the sending state and the receiving one. The aim of the article is to analyse the impact of the Polish emigration to Great Britain after 2004 on the level and character of the Polish-British cooperation. In addition, the author of the article tries to find out what factors determined Polish activities intended to protect the interests of the Poles living in Great Britain.
